Long road trip: everything you need to pack for a top trip

There is nothing better than a road trip by car to move as you want, where you want, and especially at the pace you want. Traveling by car means being free to stop whenever you want for a picnic break by the sea, or on the contrary, to continue driving to arrive earlier than expected. But who says the long trip, says spending time - a lot of time - on the roads. A long road trip can be taxing, and it will be too late to turn back if you realize along the way that you forgot your charger at home. So if you really want to enjoy your trip and your vacation, you better make sure you have everything planned. So here's a checklist of all you need to pack for a long road trip, for a top trip!?
If you are traveling In Pakistan. You can rent a car in Lahore from Carlay Car Rental. It is a well-known car rental company.
Tips for preparing for a long road trip
Your car: spare wheel and emergency kit It may sound silly, but it's a point that is too often overlooked: make sure your car is ready for a long journey, with its share of surprises and mishaps that can happen at any time. Be sure to bring a spare tire, spare tire, or temporary inflation kit to help you out in the event of a flat tire. Believe us; there's nothing like a flat tire to ruin a vacation: it's better to have something to change a wheel with you. Having the equipment is good, but knowing how to change a wheel is better! If you need a little practice, do you know what you have to do before you go…?
Even though breakdowns and flat tires happen very rarely (and we wish it didn't happen to you), these moments of panic can still happen. It is therefore crucial to be well prepared with an emergency kit, in which we advise you to take:
• Flashlight: If you need to change a tire or just ask for help, a flashlight can always come in handy.
• The safety triangle: if you get stuck on the side of the road, remember to put the reflective triangle well behind your car to avoid collisions and accidents.
• A first aid kit: bandages, bandages, antiseptics, and pain relievers: better to have them with either, just in case.
• Jumper cables: very useful if you ever need to restart your battery.
• A mini fire extinguisher: for those who need to be reassured.
Before leaving, remember to check that your tires are well inflated, that your insurance is up to date, and remember to bring your license!
If you are planning to be on the road for a long time, it is better to have a toilet kit handy, in which you can put:
• Hand sanitizer (particularly useful when gas station toilets lack soap or are not always very clean ...)
• Wipes
• Sunscreen
• Deodorant
• Chewing gum
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste

Be ready in any weather If there's one thing you can't control, it's the weather. So remember to take:
• A small towel: it always helps out, whether it is to go to the beach or to have a picnic on the road. If the weather turns cloudy, you'll be glad you got it too.
• A hat or cap: not only will this give you a little style, but it is especially very important to protect yourself properly from the sun (especially for children).
• Sunglasses: also practical if you are the driver.
• Mosquito repellent: … because we can't take more of those damn mosquitoes.
If you are going in winter, it is important to plan what is necessary: we explain how to prepare your car for winter in 13 steps.

Cables, Chargers, and Everything Tech We know you plan to take them, but make sure you haven't forgotten:
• GPS: If you use your cell phone as a GPS, be careful when crossing areas where the network and connection are very weak. A backup GPS can always help.
• Off-line GPS: Very practical if you are abroad without a network or a local SIM card; downloading an offline GPS application will be very useful to you. You just have to download the city maps, which will be displayed even without a connection or network. You won't be able to make a real-time route, but it can really help you find your way when needed.
• A charger in the USB port, with the cigarette lighter adapter if necessary: an essential if you do not want to be short of battery.
• A removable battery: a second battery can always be useful if you do not have a socket nearby.

Traveling with children Sometimes even adults are bored on a long trip, so imagine your kids! So remember to take:
• Toys
• A tablet for watching movies? The best children's movie to watch this summer.
• Playlist with your children's favorite songs
• Baby diapers
• A small blanket (if the air conditioning is difficult to regulate, for example)
• Bottles if needed
• Snacks
• Pillows
• Stroller
On a long journey, boredom is your worst enemy. Here is a small list of all the activities to do in the car so as not to get bored . ?

As a bonus: The cooler, if you have room. Taking your little picnic and keeping your bottles cool is a real pleasure on vacation.
Pillows like for the plane. But yes, you know, the ones around your neck.
Avoid plastic; just because you travel doesn't mean you can't be environmentally friendly.
A complete check-in of your car by a mechanic before leaving. Small holiday gift, as they say ...
